THE PROPER GRIP

Shows a smiling Ben Hogan looking down at his grip. He is positioning his hands so that they are in the proper position. He would then wrap his fingers and know that he had the perfect grip position. This photo was used by Ravielli to create the drawing that appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated in March of 1957. It was also the on the cover of the first printing of the hardcover version of The Five lessons.
