THE SWING PLANE

A great view of Ben Hogan from behind showing him at the top of his swing. This photo was used by Anthony Ravielli in one of the most famous golf drawings of all time The Swing Plane. This drawing shows Hogan in the same position with a pane of glass through him at a diagonal. The concept of the swing plane was pioneered by Hogan and is one of the cornerstones of the modern golf swing.

The photo is currently available in three forms seen at right. The unframed version is a top quality C-Print developed from the original negative by Modern Age lab NYC. The presentation matted version is double matted with title below. The framed version utilizes the presentation matting in a lovely hard wood veneered frame.

The last item is a painting by amazing NY sports artist Chaz Denny. I have currently commisioned him to do a painting of Approaching Impact that will soon be available in a limited edition print. Stay tuned.
